Appearances

Punching Enemigo, or Red Enemigo, is a type of Enemigo in both games. It can wield any punching weapon. If it has no weapon, it will pick up objects and throw them, or it will use fists. It can be killed with the damage of 25 punching level 1 fists, 37,5 in areas 5-12 of Cactus McCoy 2

Appearance[]

As implied by their alternative name "Red Enemigo", Punching Enemigos are clothed mainly in red. In Cactus McCoy, they wear red shirts and helmets. They also wear black masks, beige pants, and brown shoes. Every part of their faces below the eyes is covered up by a brown mustache.

In Cactus McCoy 2, they take on three different designs.

The first design, seen from Tumblewood to Prickly Prairie, depicts them as wearing the same shirts from the original game, but this time underneath brown vests. Their pants change from beige to dark grey, and their helmets are replaced by red head scarves. These Enemigos are revealed to have long, blonde hair only noticeable on their sides that goes into their clothes.

The second design, seen in Southwind Express and most levels that follow, remains mostly the same as the first one. The only differences are that their head scarves are replaced with spiked helmets(pickelhaubes) and their faces are covered up by red bandanas.

The third design, seen in jungle-themed levels, is entirely different. They wear(like most jungle-based enemigos) grass skirts and furry boots. They wear masks with red spots and eyelids, and has a wide gritted smile. Their pants appear to have red suspenders, and appear to have a red arm tattoo of a skull.
